Cocoa Brown 1-Hour Tan Mousse-what every blogger has been raving about recently.
It has to be one of the first long lasting tans within
its price range, which varies between €7 and €8 nationwide, that actually works! Penneys are retailing it at just €7 but I purchased my can in Cara Pharmacy for €7.39. I was lucky to get the last one-it’s flying off the shelves
everywhere.
Designed
by Marissa Carter, a qualified
beautician with her own Salon in Dublin, this really is the new wonder product
revolutionising the self-tan market. The tan develops fully within 1 hour and
continues to develop once washed off. Marissa recommends waiting up to three
hours before rinsing but I’d say give it longer to have a darker glow. Marissa’s
tan tips are really excellent; if you’ve time log onto her website before
applying, www.cocoabrown.ie.
Exfoliating and moisturizing up to the day of your tan is important and if you do
this you will certainly get beyond value for money with this product. It is streak-free but be especially careful
after application to avoid contact with water for up to three hours after you
apply your tan. Wait longer if possible. For €7,
it certainly lasts a good five to seven days and fades consistently enough. To
even out any difference just apply some wash off tan like Rimmel or Sally
Hansen during the day to make it last longer in between applications.
The
aerated mousse formula has a ‘pleasant Tahitian Gardenia scent’. This sweet
floral smell is not overpowering and doesn’t turn into the ‘biscuit pong’ we
are used to from many tans on the market. The tan shouldn’t rub off after
allowing it to dry but I would still recommend avoiding any tightfitting or white clothing. Common
sense applies people.
Apply using a mitt to
protect your hands and nails and for good coverage over freckles and marks on
the skin. This tan works well on many levels and for only €7, it’s a bargain
for all it can do.
Buy it and try it!
